前往嘉錯拉山口無需預約或購票，但需注意該埡口位於318國道沿線，作為途經點無需額外預訂。因地處海拔5220米以上的高原地帶，務必提前做好高原反應防護，備足氧氣瓶、抗高反藥物及防風保暖衣物，避免劇烈運動。山口風大氣溫低，需注意防寒防曬。自駕前往需確保車輛狀況良好，部分路段可能有暗冰或積雪，尤其在冬季應謹慎駕駛。請尊重當地習俗，不隨意觸碰經幡、瑪尼堆等宗教物品，並自覺帶走所有垃圾。由於該地為通往珠峰保護區的重要通道，需提前辦理邊防證，並遵守相關邊境管理規定。

No reservation or ticket purchase is required to visit Gyatsola Pass, but please note that the pass is located along National Highway 318 and serves as a transit point, so no additional booking is needed. Situated in a high-altitude area above 5,220 meters, it is essential to take precautions against altitude sickness in advance by preparing sufficient oxygen bottles, anti-altitude sickness medication, and windproof, warm clothing, while avoiding strenuous activity. The pass experiences strong winds and low temperatures, so protection against cold and sun exposure is necessary. For self-driving trips, ensure the vehicle is in good condition, as some road sections may have black ice or snow, especially in winter, requiring cautious driving. Respect local customs by not touching religious items such as prayer flags or mani stone piles, and take all trash with you. As the area is an important route to the Everest Nature Reserve, a border permit must be obtained in advance, and relevant border management regulations must be followed.

嘉錯拉山口位於西藏日喀則市拉孜縣與定日縣交界處，是珠穆朗瑪峯國家級自然保護區的一部分，也是318國道的最高點，海拔約五千二百二十米。作為前往珠峯北坡的門戶，山口豎立着醒目的保護區界碑和五彩經幡，極具地標意義。在晴朗天氣下，這裏是全世界爲數不多能夠同時遠眺珠穆朗瑪峯、卓奧友峯、洛子峯和馬卡魯峯四座八千米級雪峯的公路埡口，視野極其壯闊。周邊高原植被稀疏，呈現出蒼涼雄渾的原始美感。山口全年全天免費開放，不僅是自駕川藏線的重要打卡點，也是領略西藏天地之大的經典觀景台。

Located at the border between Lhatse County and Tingri County in Shigatse City, Tibet, Gyatsola Pass is part of the Mount Qomolangma National Nature Reserve and stands as the highest point of National Highway 318, at an altitude of approximately 5,220 meters. Serving as a gateway to the northern slopes of Mount Everest, the pass is marked by prominent reserve boundary tablets and colorful prayer flags, giving it significant landmark status. On clear days, it is one of the few highway mountain passes in the world where visitors can simultaneously gaze upon four peaks above 8,000 meters: Mount Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, and Makalu, offering exceptionally grand vistas. The surrounding high-altitude area features sparse vegetation, showcasing a raw, desolate beauty. Open year-round with free admission, the pass is not only a key stop for self-driving tours along the Sichuan-Tibet Highway but also a classic viewing platform for appreciating the vastness of Tibet's landscape.
