日喀則和平機場位於西藏自治區日喀則市桑珠孜區江當鄉，海拔約3800米，是西藏第三座民用機場和重要的高高原因航空樞紐。機場距離日喀則市區約45公里，擁有一條長5000米的主跑道，設計兼顧民航與國防需求。作為通往珠穆朗瑪峰的門戶之一，它顯著縮短了前往珠峰大本營及周邊景區的陸路時間。機場周邊被雅魯藏布江流域的河谷地貌環繞，起降時可俯瞰壯麗的高原山水景觀。2011年正式通航後，機場主要運營往返成都、拉薩等城市的航線，進一步完善了西藏的立體交通網絡，助力區域發展與旅遊開放。

Shigatse Peace Airport is situated in Jiangdang Township, Sangzhuzi District, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region, at an altitude of approximately 3,800 meters. It is the third civilian airport in Tibet and a crucial high-plateau aviation hub. Located about 45 kilometers from downtown Shigatse, the airport features a main runway measuring 5,000 meters in length, designed to accommodate both civil aviation and national defense needs. As one of the gateways to Mount Everest, it significantly reduces overland travel time to Everest Base Camp and surrounding scenic areas. Surrounded by the valley landscapes of the Yarlung Tsangpo River basin, the airport offers breathtaking views of the plateau’s mountains and rivers during takeoff and landing. Since its official opening in 2011, the airport primarily operates routes to cities such as Chengdu and Lhasa, further enhancing Tibet’s comprehensive transportation network and supporting regional development and tourism accessibility.
