Along the way, the altitude rises sharply to Gyawu La Pass (approximately 5,198 meters), making altitude sickness and motion sickness highly likely. Although the road is paved, its sharp bends and steep slopes require cautious and slow driving at all times, with possible rockfalls during the rainy season.
