邊防證必需：前往墨脫縣需在戶籍地或拉薩辦理《邊境管理區通行證》（填寫「林芝地區墨脫縣」），無證無法通過檢查站。
限行政策：墨脫縣實行「單進雙出」（車牌尾號單數日進入、雙數日離開），需提前核對行程日期。
檢查站登記：需在波密縣嘎隆檢查站、墨脫縣達木檢查站停車驗證登記。

Mandatory Travel Permits
Border permit required: Travelers to Medog County must obtain a "Border Area Travel Permit" at their place of household registration or in Lhasa (fill in "Medog County, Nyingchi Prefecture"). Those without a permit will be denied passage at checkpoints.
Traffic restriction policy: Medog County implements an "odd-in, even-out" rule (vehicles with odd-numbered license plate尾号 may enter on odd-numbered dates, and those with even-numbered尾号 on even-numbered dates). Travel dates must be planned accordingly.
Checkpoint registration: Travelers must stop for verification and registration at the Galong Checkpoint in Bomi County and the Damu Checkpoint in Medog County.

This viewing platform is situated on the ridge of the Yarlung Tsangpo River Canyon in Medog County, Nyingchi City, Tibet. It is the only official observation deck in the eastern Himalayas where one can systematically observe "low-altitude sea of clouds, canyon optical effects, and three-dimensional climate zones." Integrating meteorological wonders, ecological perspectives, and geographical landmarks, it is acclaimed as the "Southeastern Tibet Celestial Projection Hall."
