The Turpan Junwangfu (Prince's Mansion) is a historical building located in Munar Village, Grape Township, eastern suburbs of Turpan City, Xinjiang, approximately a few kilometers from the city center and adjacent to the Su Gong Pagoda. Originally constructed during the Qianlong era of the Qing Dynasty, it has a history of several hundred years and served as the residence, administrative headquarters, and military command center of Emin Khoja, the Prince of Turpan, functioning as the political, economic, cultural, and military hub for the Uyghur community in Turpan during the Qing era. The original structure was destroyed in modern times, and the current mansion was reconstructed based on historical records, adhering to the original Uyghur architectural style, blending Han cultural elements with traditional Islamic architecture. The complex includes facilities such as an assembly hall, mosque, barracks, and is adorned with numerous fruit trees and grapevines, creating a picturesque environment. Today, it is not only a tourist attraction showcasing Turpan's history and ethnic culture but also a filming location for related film and television productions.
