前往西極時光景區遊覽無需提前線上預約，可直接在景區入口售票處購票。景區開放時間分夏季（約5月1日-10月31日）09:30-23:00和冬季（約11月1日-4月30日）10:00-20:00，為觀賞“中國最後一縷陽光”，建議出行前查詢即時日落時間並據此規劃抵達時間。​前往該地區（烏恰縣）必須提前辦理《邊境管理區通行證》（邊防證）​，建議在戶籍地或喀什市辦理。景區地處帕米爾高原，海拔較高，日曬強烈且晝夜溫差大，請務必做好防曬、防風和保暖準備。從入口至核心地標（如西極塔）約有1公里路程，可選擇徒步、騎馬、騎駱駝或乘坐景區全地形越野車，請注意安全並選擇適合自己的交通方式。請尊重當地柯爾克孜族風俗習慣，愛護環境，將垃圾帶離。由於地處偏遠，建議自駕車輛加滿油，並提前了解路況。

To visit the Westernmost Time Scenic Area, advance online reservation is not required; tickets can be purchased directly at the entrance ticket office. The scenic area's opening hours are divided into summer (approximately May 1 to October 31) from 09:30 to 23:00 and winter (approximately November 1 to April 30) from 10:00 to 20:00. To witness the "last ray of sunlight in China," it is advisable to check the real-time sunset time before your trip and plan your arrival accordingly. ​Travel to this area (Wuqia County) requires obtaining a Border Area Entry Permit (Border Permit) in advance, which is recommended to be processed at your place of household registration or in Kashgar City. Located on the Pamir Plateau with a high altitude, the area experiences intense sunlight and significant temperature differences between day and night. Please ensure you are prepared with sun protection, wind protection, and warm clothing. The distance from the entrance to core landmarks (such as the Westernmost Tower) is approximately 1 kilometer. You can choose to walk, ride a horse, ride a camel, or take the scenic area's all-terrain vehicle. Please pay attention to safety and select the mode of transport that suits you best. Respect the local Kyrgyz ethnic customs, protect the environment, and take all trash with you. As the location is remote, it is recommended to fill up your vehicle's fuel tank if driving and check road conditions in advance.

西極時光景區位於新疆克孜勒蘇柯爾克孜自治州烏恰縣吉根鄉，地處天山與崑崙山交匯的帕米爾高原，是中國大陸最西端的旅遊景區，以「中國最後一縷陽光」著稱。景區核心景觀包括象徵性的西極塔、戍邊博物館以及壯麗的丹霞地貌和雪山風光。夏季日落可晚至23:30，國慶期間約20:30開始持續1小時的日落霞光尤爲壯觀。遊客可徒步棧道或騎馬、駱駝登頂海拔3300米的山脊，俯瞰伊爾克什坦河與邊境風光。當地柯爾克孜族提供民俗體驗、特色刺繡和庫姆孜彈唱，還可品嚐西極土豆等特色美食。景區已獲評國家3A級旅遊景區，需提前辦理邊防證，從喀什自駕約4小時可達。

The Westernmost Time Scenic Area is located in Jigen Township, Wuqia County, within the Kizilsu Kirghiz Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang. Situated on the Pamir Plateau where the Tianshan and Kunlun Mountains converge, it is the westernmost tourist attraction in mainland China, renowned for being the place to witness the "last ray of sunlight in China". Its core attractions include the symbolic Westernmost Tower, a frontier defense museum, and magnificent Danxia landforms surrounded by snowy mountains. In summer, the sunset can occur as late as 23:30, with a particularly spectacular one-hour sunset glow starting around 20:30 during the National Day period. Visitors can hike along trails or ride horses/camels to the summit of the 3,300-meter-high ridge for panoramic views of the Yierkeshitan River and the border landscape. Local Kirghiz communities offer cultural experiences, exquisite embroidery, and performances on the Komuz instrument, along with local specialties like Westernmost potatoes. Designated as a National AAA-level tourist attraction, it requires a border permit for entry and is accessible by a roughly 4-hour drive from Kashgar.
