中巴友誼公路

中巴友誼公路（喀喇崑崙公路/G314國道）是一條全年通行的開放公路，但通行條件嚴格受季節和天氣影響，無需預訂，也不收取公路通行費。最佳通行季節為每年5月至10月，冬季（11月至次年4月）紅其拉甫山口及部分高海拔路段可能因大雪封路。若計劃沿該公路旅行，​首要前提是必須持有有效的​《邊境管理區通行證》​​（邊防證），註明前往“塔什庫爾干縣”。普通遊客不能駕車直接穿越紅其拉甫口岸進入巴基斯坦，紅其拉甫國門區域亦不對外開放。沿途海拔極高（部分埡口超過4000米），需做好高原反應防範，務必駕駛車況良好的高底盤車輛（建議越野車），並備足禦寒衣物、高熱量食物、飲用水及應急藥品。公路部分路段為非鋪裝路面且地形險峻，需隨時注意落石、泥石流等風險。建議將沿途的白沙湖、喀拉庫勒湖、慕士塔格峰等景點串聯，規劃2-3日的帕米爾高原深度遊，並提前查詢實時路況與天氣。

The China-Pakistan Friendship Highway (Karakoram Highway/G314 National Highway) is an open road accessible year-round, but passage is strictly dependent on seasonal and weather conditions. No reservations are required, and there is no highway toll. The best season for travel is from May to October each year. During winter (November to April), the Khunjerab Pass and certain high-altitude sections may be closed due to heavy snowfall. If planning a trip along this highway, the ​primary prerequisite​ is to possess a valid ​Border Area Entry Permit​ (Border Permit) that specifies travel to "Taxkorgan County." Ordinary tourists ​cannot​ drive directly across the Khunjerab Port into Pakistan, and the Khunjerab border gate area is also not open to the public. The route reaches extremely high altitudes (some passes exceed 4,000 meters), so precautions against altitude sickness are necessary. It is essential to drive a well-maintained, high-clearance vehicle (preferably an off-road vehicle) and carry sufficient cold-weather clothing, high-calorie food, drinking water, and emergency medication. Parts of the highway are unpaved with rugged terrain, requiring constant vigilance against risks such as falling rocks and mudslides. It is advisable to combine attractions along the way—such as White Sand Lake, Karakul Lake, and Muztagh Peak—to plan a 2-3 day in-depth tour of the Pamir Plateau, and to check real-time road conditions and weather in advance.
