新藏線零公里

新藏線零公里（葉城零公里）為G219國道新藏公路的起點標誌，是一個全天候免費開放的公共地標，無需預約或購買門票。參觀本身無特殊限制，但需特別注意的是，以此為零公里開始的新藏線自駕旅程極其艱險。出發前必須確保車輛（建議使用四驅越野車）處於最佳狀態，備足燃油、食物、飲用水、藥品、氧氣瓶及防寒裝備。所有乘客均需在戶籍地或葉城辦理好前往西藏阿里地區的《邊境管理區通行證》（邊防證）。該線路平均海拔超過4500米，需提前進行高原適應，了解高原病預防知識，並避免單車單人出行。沿途補給點極少，路況複雜，氣候惡劣，應提前規劃每日行程，並務必留意沿途檢查站和交通管制信息。請尊重當地民族習俗和生態環境，帶走所有垃圾。

The "Zero Kilometer" point of the Xinjiang-Tibet Highway (in Yecheng) is the starting marker of the G219 National Highway Xinjiang-Tibet route. It is a public landmark open 24/7 with free admission, requiring no reservation or ticket purchase. There are no special restrictions for visiting the marker itself. However, it is crucial to note that the self-drive journey along the Xinjiang-Tibet Highway starting from this zero point is extremely challenging. Before departure, you must ensure your vehicle (a 4x4 off-road vehicle is recommended) is in optimal condition and carry sufficient fuel, food, drinking water, medicine, oxygen cylinders, and cold-weather gear. All passengers must obtain a "Border Area Entry Permit" (Border Permit) for travel to ​the Ngari Prefecture of Tibet, which can be acquired at their place of household registration or in Yecheng. The route has an average altitude exceeding 4,500 meters, so acclimatization to high altitude in advance is necessary, along with knowledge on preventing altitude sickness. Avoid traveling solo with a single vehicle. There are very few supply points along the way, and the road conditions are complex with harsh weather. Plan your daily itinerary in advance and pay close attention to checkpoints and traffic control information along the route. Please respect local ethnic customs and the ecological environment, and take all your trash with you.

新藏線零公里是國道219線（新藏公路）的起始點，位於新疆喀什地區葉城縣東城區，地處219國道與315國道交會的三岔口。這裡矗立著標誌性的「天路彩門」和零公里紀念碑，彩門橫梁中央鑲嵌著金黃色的「0」字，兩側刻有「天路零公里，崑崙第一城」的鎦金對聯，象徵著從新疆葉城通往西藏阿里的世界海拔最高公路之旅正式開啟。作為1957年通車的新藏公路的起點，它不僅是連接新疆與西藏的「生命保障線」起點，更是絲綢之路南道上的重要地理標誌和文化符號，承載著無數探險者挑戰天險、走向世界屋脊的夢想起點。

The Zero Kilometer point of the Xinjiang-Tibet Highway is the starting mark of National Highway 219 (Xinjiang-Tibet Highway). It is located in the eastern urban area of Yecheng County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang, at the junction of Highways 219 and 315. A iconic "Sky Road Archway" and a Zero Kilometer monument stand here, with a golden number "0" embedded in the center of the archway's beam and couplets inscribed in gold on both sides reading "Sky Road Zero Kilometer, First City at the Kunlun Mountains." This symbolizes the official start of the world's highest-altitude road journey from Yecheng in Xinjiang to Ngari in Tibet. As the starting point of the Xinjiang-Tibet Highway, which opened in 1957, it is not only the origin of the "lifeline" connecting Xinjiang and Tibet but also a significant geographical marker and cultural symbol on the southern route of the Silk Road, carrying the dreams of countless adventurers embarking on a challenge against nature's barriers towards the Roof of the World.
