前往塔什庫爾幹石頭城參觀無需提前線上預約，可直接在現場售票處購票（建議與金草灘濕地公園購買聯票）。景區全年開放，常規開放時間為北京時間10:00至20:00，但高海拔地區天氣多變，冬季（11月至次年4月）或惡劣天氣時可能提前關閉或調整時間，建議出行前電話諮詢確認。​前往塔什庫爾幹縣必須提前辦理《邊境管理區通行證》（邊防證）​，可在喀什市“喀什地區全域旅遊服務中心”或戶籍地公安機關辦理。遺址海拔約3100米，請注意預防高原反應，放慢活動節奏。景區內設有木棧道，請沿指定路線遊覽，切勿攀爬、刻畫文物古蹟。帕米爾高原日照強烈、晝夜溫差大，務必做好防曬、防風與保暖措施。景區附近配套設施有限，建議自備飲用水和簡單食物。可將石頭城與金草灘、塔吉克民族村落等景點結合，規劃為喀什至塔縣帕米爾高原旅程中的重要一站。

To visit the Taxkorgan Stone Fortress, no advance online reservation is required; tickets can be purchased directly at the on-site ticket office (a combined ticket with the Golden Grass Beach Wetland Park is recommended). The scenic area is open year-round, with regular operating hours from 10:00 to 20:00 Beijing Time. However, weather conditions in high-altitude areas are highly variable. During winter (November to April) or in severe weather, opening hours may be adjusted or the site may close early, so it is advisable to call and confirm before your trip. ​Travel to Taxkorgan County requires obtaining a Border Area Entry Permit (Border Permit) in advance, which can be applied for at the Kashgar Regional Tourism Service Center in Kashgar City or at the public security bureau of your household registration location. The ruins are situated at an altitude of approximately 3,100 meters; please take precautions against altitude sickness and slow your pace. Wooden walkways are provided within the scenic area; please follow the designated routes for sightseeing and do not climb, carve, or damage the cultural relics and historic sites. The Pamir Plateau experiences intense sunlight and significant temperature differences between day and night, so adequate sun protection, wind protection, and warmth measures are essential. The facilities near the scenic area are limited, so it is recommended to bring your own drinking water and simple snacks. The Stone Fortress can be combined with attractions such as Golden Grass Beach and Tajik ethnic villages, making it a key stop on a journey from Kashgar to Taxkorgan on the Pamir Plateau.

塔什庫爾干石頭城位於新疆帕米爾高原塔什庫爾干塔吉克自治縣縣城北側，海拔約3100米，是絲綢之路上見證千年歷史的重要古城遺址，也是全國重點文物保護單位。其歷史可追溯至漢代，曾為西域三十六國之一的蒲犁國王城，唐代為朅盤陀國都城，是絲綢之路中道與南道交匯的軍事與貿易樞紐，玄奘、馬可·波羅等歷史人物均曾途經於此。城堡建在一座高約20米的巨大岩石丘上，地勢險峻，城牆、城門、佛寺、官署等遺跡輪廓清晰可見，建築風格融合了中原漢地、印度及波斯文化元素。如今，這座“石頭城”作為“帕米爾旅遊區”（國家5A級）的核心組成部分，與山下的金草灘國家濕地公園共同構成一幅壯麗的高原歷史畫卷，是探秘古絲路文明、體驗塔吉克民族風情的必到之地。

The Taxkorgan Stone Fortress is situated on the northern edge of Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County on the Pamir Plateau in Xinjiang, at an altitude of approximately 3,100 meters. It is a significant ancient city ruin that bears witness to millennia of history along the Silk Road and is designated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit. Its history can be traced back to the Han Dynasty, when it served as the royal city of the Puli Kingdom, one of the Thirty-Six Kingdoms of the Western Regions. During the Tang Dynasty, it became the capital of the Jiepantuo Kingdom. It was a crucial military and trade hub at the junction of the Central and Southern Routes of the Silk Road, and historical figures such as Xuanzang and Marco Polo passed through it. The fortress is built on a massive rocky hill about 20 meters high, with a commanding and precipitous terrain. The outlines of ruins such as city walls, gates, Buddhist temples, and government offices are still clearly visible. Its architectural style blends elements from the Central Plains of China, India, and Persia. Today, as a core component of the "Pamir Tourist Area" (a National 5A-level scenic spot), this "Stone City" together with the Golden Grass Beach National Wetland Park at its foot forms a magnificent historical tableau of the high plateau. It is an essential destination for exploring ancient Silk Road civilization and experiencing Tajik ethnic culture.
