When visiting Muztagh Glacier Park, you must obtain a Border Permit in advance. The best time to visit is from May to October each year. The park is typically open from 10:00 to 18:00 Beijing Time, but due to the unpredictable weather at high altitudes, it may close temporarily during winter or severe weather conditions. It is advisable to confirm the opening status through local travel agencies or official channels before your trip. The core area of the park is over 4,000 meters above sea level, so it is essential to prepare for altitude sickness in advance. Avoid strenuous activity, and bring warm clothing, sunscreen, and sunglasses. The side roads leading from the G314 National Highway to the glacier are mostly unpaved, so a 4x4 off-road vehicle is recommended. Follow designated routes during your visit, do not climb the glacier or enter restricted areas without authorization, and be aware of potential hazards such as meltwater and crevasses. Please take all trash with you to help protect the fragile plateau ecosystem. For a more reliable experience, consider joining a professional tour group to the Pamir Plateau departing from Kashgar.

慕士塔格冰川公園坐落於新疆帕米爾高原，依托海拔7546米的「冰山之父」慕士塔格峰而建，是國家級冰川公園。公園內冰川景觀豐富多樣，遊客可以觀賞到雄偉的冰川、秀麗的冰舌、多姿的冰塔與冰洞，以及柔美的冰湖。其中，4號冰川是遊客最容易接近的冰川，可從景區大門乘坐區間車至半山平台後，通過徒步或騎馬的方式近距離接觸。這裏是帕米爾高原的核心景觀帶，沿途可欣賞到雪山、湖泊（如喀拉庫勒湖）、草甸交織的壯麗畫卷。公園平均海拔約5000米，遊客需注意高原反應，並做好防風保暖和防曬措施。同時，前往塔縣方向需提前辦理邊防證。

The Muztagh Glacier Park is located on the Pamir Plateau in Xinjiang, centered around the 7,546-meter-high "Father of Ice Mountains," Muztagh Peak, and is designated as a national-level glacier park. It features diverse glacial landscapes, where visitors can admire majestic glaciers, beautiful ice tongues, varied ice towers and caves, as well as serene glacial lakes. The No. 4 Glacier is the most accessible for visitors, who can take a shuttle bus from the park entrance to a mid-mountain platform and then proceed on foot or horseback for a close-up experience. As a core scenic area of the Pamir Plateau, the journey offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains, lakes (such as Karakul Lake), and meadows. With an average altitude of about 5,000 meters, visitors should be cautious of altitude sickness and prepare with windproof, warm clothing, and sun protection. Additionally, a border permit is required for travel toward Taxkorgan County.
