庫爾勒孔雀河是貫穿市區的開放型城市景觀河，遊覽時請留意以下注意事項。第一，開放性與時間：沿岸公園及步道全天免費開放，但夜間遊覽建議在公共照明充足的主景觀帶（如孔雀河大橋至風帆廣場段）活動，避免前往光線昏暗或人跡稀少的河岸區域，最好結伴同行。第二，安全防護：河道雖經整治，但部分區域水深流急，請勿翻越護欄、下水游泳或嬉戲，尤其需看護好兒童與寵物；夏季岸邊蚊蟲較多，建議攜帶驅蚊用品。第三，文明與環保：請勿向河中丟棄垃圾、洗滌物品或垂釣（除非在指定區域），愛護沿岸的綠植與公共設施。第四，交通與便利：市區段沿河有多處停車場，但高峰時段車位可能緊張，建議使用公共交通工具或共享單車抵達；河岸步道較長，請根據體力合理安排行程，並備好飲用水。第五，氣候與著裝：庫爾勒氣候乾燥，日照強烈，晝夜溫差大，遊覽時需做好防曬、補水，傍晚可添衣保暖。第六，特別提示：如遇開閘放水（通常有預警），請立即遠離河道；冬季部分河段可能結冰，請勿在冰面行走。

The Korla Peacock River is an open urban landscape river that runs through the city. Please note the following precautions during your visit. First, Accessibility and Timing: Riverside parks and walkways are open to the public free of charge all day. However, for evening visits, it is recommended to stay in the main scenic areas with sufficient public lighting (such as the section between the Peacock River Bridge and the Sails Square) and avoid poorly lit or sparsely populated riverbank areas. It is best to go with companions. Second, Safety Precautions: Although the river channel has been improved, some sections may have deep or fast-flowing water. Do not climb over guardrails, swim, or play in the water. Special care should be taken to supervise children and pets. Mosquitoes and insects are abundant along the banks in summer, so carrying repellent is advisable. Third, Civility and Environmental Protection: Do not discard trash, wash items, or fish in the river (except in designated areas). Please take care of the greenery and public facilities along the banks. Fourth, Transportation and Convenience: There are multiple parking lots along the urban section of the river, but parking may be limited during peak hours. Using public transportation or shared bicycles is recommended. The riverside walkways are quite long, so plan your itinerary according to your stamina and bring drinking water. Fifth, Climate and Attire: Korla has a dry climate with intense sunlight and significant temperature differences between day and night. During your visit, protect yourself from the sun, stay hydrated, and add layers in the evening to keep warm. Sixth, Special Notes: If a sluice gate is opened (usually with prior warning), move away from the riverbank immediately. In winter, some sections of the river may freeze; do not walk on the ice.

The Korla Peacock River is an inland river that flows through the urban area of Korla City in Xinjiang, hailed as "the mother river of the Pear City." Originating from Bosten Lake, it traverses the city from west to east, dividing Korla into northern and southern districts, and eventually merges into the Tarim River. Through comprehensive management, the river has been transformed into an urban scenic belt integrating ecology, landscape, and leisure. Along its banks, granite revetments, waterside platforms, musical fountains, and abundant green belts have been constructed, creating the beautiful "river with two banks" scenery. During the day, the river water is clear and the banks are shaded by lush trees; at night, the glittering lights reflect on the water, presenting a charming view. The Peacock River not only provides vital ecological support for the city but also carries profound historical and cultural significance, as the legendary story of "Ban Chao watering his horse" is said to have taken place here. Today, it has become a core public space for citizens to stroll, exercise, and enjoy entertainment, fully showcasing the vitality and charm of Korla, a city on the edge of the desert.
