However, separate tickets or reservations may be needed for some core attractions (such as Arxian Hot Springs and Banchan Valley) or special internal experience programs (such as shuttle buses, unique homestays, and horse riding services). It is recommended to check the latest ticketing policies through the official platform of "Hejing County Gongnaisi Scenic Area" or local travel information before your trip. If you plan to stay within the scenic area or in Gongnaisi Town, especially during the peak tourist season from July to August and holidays, be sure to book hotels, resorts, or Mongolian yurts in advance. Regarding important notices for your visit, please pay close attention to the following: First, transportation and safety. The park is vast with scattered attractions, primarily accessible by self-driving or chartered vehicles. Check your vehicle's condition in advance, ensure sufficient fuel, and drive cautiously on the winding and narrow mountain roads. Some sections may be unpaved; driving a vehicle with high ground clearance is recommended. Mobile phone signals can be unstable; download offline maps beforehand. Second, climate and gear. The park is located deep in the Tianshan Mountains at high altitudes (approximately 1,500-4,000 meters), with highly changeable weather and extreme day-night temperature differences. Even in summer, prepare warm clothing such as windproof jackets and fleece, and protect yourself from the sun. Wear comfortable, non-slip hiking shoes. Third, health and protection. Some areas are at high altitudes; avoid strenuous exercise to prevent altitude sickness. Bring your own commonly used medications. In forest and grassland areas, guard against mosquitoes and insects; it is advisable to carry repellents. Fourth, ecology and fire prevention. The park is a national key ecological area. Open fires, smoking, and littering are strictly prohibited. Take all waste out of the park. Do not pick flowers or plants, and do not disturb wildlife. Fifth, hot springs and local customs. If you experience the Arxian Hot Springs, follow the management's regulations, pay attention to water temperature and your physical condition. Respect the customs of local ethnic minorities such as the Mongolians. Sixth, timing and supplies. Dining options within the scenic area are limited and far apart; it is advisable to bring an ample supply of drinking water and high-energy food. 鞏乃斯國家森林公園位於中國新疆維吾爾自治區巴音郭楞蒙古自治州和靜縣西北部，地處天山山脈深處、鞏乃斯河上游，總面積約7.8萬公頃，是新疆著名的國家森林公園和國家AAAA級旅遊景區。公園以其壯麗而完整的垂直自然景觀帶而聞名，從海拔約1500米的河谷草甸，到3000米以上的高山雪嶺，依次分佈著山地草原、雪嶺雲杉原始森林、高山草甸和終年積雪的冰川帶，形成了「一日有四季，十里不同天」的獨特生態奇觀。公園內森林覆蓋率極高，擁有亞洲面積最大、保護最完整的雪嶺雲杉林之一，被譽為「天山深處的綠色寶庫」和「巨大的動植物基因庫」，是雪豹、北山羊、馬鹿等珍稀野生動物的棲息地。核心景點包括班禪溝、仙女湖、阿爾先溫泉、洪加里克瀑布等，夏季綠草如茵、野花遍地，秋季層林盡染、色彩斑斕，四季景色分明。此外，公園地處218國道與獨庫公路交匯區域，是連接南北疆的重要交通走廊，也是體驗蒙古族東歸文化和遊牧風情的理想之地，遊客可在此享受森林徒步、溫泉療養、草原騎馬等多重生態度假體驗。

Gongnaisi National Forest Park is located in the northwest of Hejing County, Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China. Situated deep in the Tianshan Mountains and on the upper reaches of the Gongnaisi River, it covers a total area of approximately 78,000 hectares and is a renowned National Forest Park and a National AAAA Tourist Attraction in Xinjiang. The park is famous for its magnificent and complete vertical natural landscape zones. From valley meadows at an altitude of about 1,500 meters to alpine snow ridges above 3,000 meters, it successively features mountain grasslands, pristine Tianshan spruce forests, alpine meadows, and glacier zones with perennial snow, creating the unique ecological wonder of "experiencing four seasons in a single day and different weather every few miles." The park boasts an extremely high forest coverage rate, containing one of the largest and most well-preserved Tianshan spruce forests in Asia. It is hailed as the "Green Treasure Trove deep in the Tianshan Mountains" and a "vast gene pool of flora and fauna," serving as a habitat for rare wildlife such as snow leopards, Siberian ibex, and red deer. Core attractions include Banchan Valley, Fairy Lake, Arxian Hot Springs, and Hongjialike Waterfall. In summer, the park is a lush green carpet dotted with wildflowers, while in autumn, the forests are ablaze with vibrant colors, offering distinct scenery for each season. Furthermore, the park is located at the intersection of National Highway 218 and the Dushanzi-Kuqa Highway, serving as an important transportation corridor connecting northern and southern Xinjiang. It is also an ideal place to experience the Mongolian East Return culture and nomadic customs.
