Dear Visitor, please be advised of the following booking guidelines and important notices for your trip to the Kanas Scenic Area:

​Booking Guidelines:​​ The scenic area implements a strict ​real-name, timed-entry reservation and ticketing system; there are no on-site ticket counters.​​ You must book and purchase your entrance tickets and shuttle bus tickets in advance via authorized online platforms (such as the official "Kanas Travel" website, the official WeChat account, Ctrip, Meituan, etc.) using your real-name information. The scenic area has a limited carrying capacity, especially during peak seasons like ​China’s National Day holiday (late September to early October)​​ and the ​summer months (June to August)​. It is essential to purchase tickets ​1 to 7 days in advance​ and accurately select your entry time slot. Tickets may become invalid if you fail to enter at the scheduled time. For visiting separate areas like the ​Fish Watching Pavilion (Guan Yu Tai), Hemu Village, or Baihaba Village, or for activities like rafting and cultural home visits, separate tickets or reservations are required. If you plan to stay overnight within the scenic area, be sure to book your accommodation in ​Jiadenghu, Hemu, or Baihaba​ well in advance, and confirm whether the lodging is inside the scenic zone (which involves re-entry procedures).

​Important Notices for Your Visit:​​ 1. ​Transportation & Entry:​​ Private vehicles are not allowed in the core area. All visitors must transfer to the park's shuttle buses at the ​Jiadenghu Ticket Station. You must bring the ​original, valid photo ID​ (e.g., second-generation ID card, passport) used for booking to enter. Tickets are checked via ID scanning and facial recognition at the gates. 2. ​Weather & Clothing:​​ Mountain weather is highly changeable, with extreme temperature differences between day and night. Even in summer, pack ​windproof/waterproof jackets, fleece, or a down jacket, and be prepared for both rain and sun. 3. ​Safety & Regulations:​​ Always stay on designated trails and viewing platforms. It is ​strictly forbidden​ to enter undeveloped areas, climb cliffs, swim in the lake, or approach fast-flowing currents. Respect the customs of the local ​Tuwa and Kazakh​ people. Do not take close-up photos of local residents, their homes, or religious sites without permission. 4. ​Environmental Protection & Health:​​ Please take all trash to designated collection points; littering is prohibited. Mountain terrain is complex. Hike within your abilities, carry personal medications, and visitors susceptible to altitude sickness should moderate their pace. 5. ​Additional Tips:​​ Allow ample time for shuttle bus queues during peak season. Some areas (e.g., Baihaba) are border regions. If you plan to visit, you must apply for a "Border Area Travel Permit" in advance at a local police station with your ID card.

喀納斯景區位於中國新疆維吾爾自治區阿勒泰地區布爾津縣北部，地處阿爾泰山中段，與哈薩克斯坦、俄羅斯、蒙古三國接壤的黃金地帶，規劃面積達一百三十平方公里，素有「人間淨土」之美譽。作為國家AAAAA級旅遊景區和國家級自然保護區，其核心景觀喀納斯湖是由冰川作用形成的高山湖泊，湖面海拔一千三百七十四公尺，以「湖怪」傳說和隨季節變化的湖水顏色聞名，被譽為「中國最美湖泊」。景區融合冰川、雪山、森林、草原、河流、湖泊等多重生態景觀，擁有八大自然景觀區和三大文化景觀區，包括喀納斯湖、三大經典河灣以及僅存的三個圖瓦人原始村落。這裡不僅是亞洲唯一的南西伯利亞動植物分布區、中國唯一的泰加林景觀地帶，還保存著完整的圖瓦文化，可體驗呼麥、蘇爾演奏等傳統藝術。遊客可登臨觀魚台俯瞰湖光山色，沿棧道徒步三灣欣賞晨霧仙境，或探訪白哈巴「西北第一村」，感受「神的後花園」的四季畫卷。景區實行實名制分時預約購票，需搭乘區間車遊覽，建議安排二至四天深度體驗。

The Kanas Scenic Area is located in the northern part of Burqin County, Altay Prefecture, in China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Situated in the middle section of the Altai Mountains, it borders Kazakhstan, Russia, and Mongolia, covering a vast planned area of one hundred and thirty square kilometers and is renowned as a "Pure Land for Mankind". Designated as a National AAAAA Tourist Attraction and a National Nature Reserve, its core landscape is Kanas Lake, an alpine lake formed by glacial activity. The lake surface sits at one thousand three hundred and seventy-four meters above sea level, famous for its legendary "lake monster" and water that changes color with the seasons, earning it the title of "China's Most Beautiful Lake". The area integrates multiple ecological landscapes including glaciers, snow-capped mountains, forests, grasslands, rivers, and lakes. It features eight major natural landscape zones and three major cultural landscape zones, encompassing Kanas Lake, the Three Classic Bays, and the only three remaining primitive Tuvan villages. It is not only Asia's only distribution area for South Siberian flora and fauna and China's sole Taiga forest landscape zone, but also preserves intact Tuvan culture, where visitors can experience traditional arts like throat singing and Suer instrument performances. Visitors can ascend the Guanyu Terrace for panoramic views of the lake and mountains, hike the boardwalks connecting the Three Bays to admire the misty morning scenery, or explore Baihaba Village, known as the "First Village in the Northwest". The area offers stunning seasonal vistas, truly living up to its name as the "Garden of the Gods." The scenic area operates a real-name, timed-entry reservation system for tickets, and visitors must use the provided shuttle buses. A two to four-day itinerary is recommended for a thorough experience.
