Zecha Stone Forest Scenic Area does not require advance reservations; tickets can be purchased directly at the visitor center for entry. Due to the high altitude of the scenic area (approximately 2,900-4,300 meters), ensure you are prepared for cold weather and sun protection, and avoid strenuous activity to prevent altitude sickness. While exploring, strictly follow the scenic area’s boardwalks and designated routes; do not climb weathered rocks to avoid slipping or falling rocks. Protect the pristine ecological environment by not picking plants or disturbing wildlife. Some sections of the scenic area are rugged, so it is advisable to wear non-slip hiking boots and bring your own drinking water and light energy snacks.

Zecha Stone Forest is located in Zecha Village, Larenguan Township, Luqu County, within the Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Gansu Province, approximately 52 kilometers from the county seat. It is a comprehensive natural ecological scenic area that integrates stone forests, forests, and grasslands. As a key component of the Gahai–Zecha National Nature Reserve, its landscape was formed over hundreds of millions of years of geological movement and erosion of silicon limestone, renowned for being "precipitous, steep, and peculiar." Representative sights include "Stone Gate One-Line Sky," "Wise Ape Gazing at the Moon," and "Camel Peak," many of which are associated with legends of the Tibetan hero King Gesar. The area preserves a pristine ecological environment with rich rare flora and fauna. Its Tibetan name "Zecha" means "home of the antelope." It is now a National AAAA-level tourist attraction, serving as an important destination that combines geological wonders, plateau ecology, and Tibetan culture.
