The Leitai Han Tomb, located in Liangzhou District, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, is a large brick-chambered tomb from the late Eastern Han Dynasty. It is renowned for the excavation of the "Galloping Horse Treading on a Flying Swallow" (Bronze Galloping Horse), which is now the national tourism emblem of China. The tomb yielded 231 precious artifacts, including a bronze procession of chariots and horses, 99 of which are bronze works, vividly reflecting the burial customs, bronze-casting techniques, and cultural exchanges along the Hexi Corridor during the Eastern Han Dynasty. Designated as a National AAA Tourist Attraction and a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit, the site encompasses the Han Dynasty tomb ruins, a bronze chariot and horse exhibition hall, and the rebuilt Leitai Taoist Temple from the Ming and Qing dynasties, making it a significant historical, archaeological, and cultural tourism destination.
