The Xixiasong Scenic Area is located in Chengxian County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, and is recognized as a National AAAA-level tourist attraction and a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit. The area centers around the Eastern Han Dynasty cliff inscription Xixiasong, celebrated as one of the “Three Odes of Han Li Script.” The inscription records the achievements of Li Xi, the Grand Administrator of Wudu Commandery during the Eastern Han Dynasty, who led the people in repairing the road through the Western Gorge. Its calligraphy, characterized by a square and archaic style with vigorous brushwork, serves as an important physical artifact for studying Han Dynasty calligraphy and history. Within the gorge, winding streams and emerald cliffs create a natural landscape featuring sights such as Huanglong Pool, One-Line Sky, and Gongya Cliff. Ancient plank road relics and cliff inscriptions complement each other harmoniously. As a cultural destination that integrates Han Dynasty calligraphy treasures, gorge scenery, and ancient road remnants, Xixiasong is not only a pilgrimage site for calligraphy enthusiasts but also an excellent place for visitors to experience the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Longnan.
