該景區無需單獨線上預訂門票，通常實行現場實名購票，但建議您與嘉峪關關城、長城第一墩直接購買聯票（旺季聯票約120元，有效期為3天）最為便捷實惠。遊覽時請務必確認您進入的是官方“石關峽懸壁長城”景區，避免被誤導至周邊的私人仿建段。攀登長城台階陡峭且需一定體力，請穿著防滑運動鞋，老人、兒童及有心臟或高血壓疾病的遊客需謹慎評估自身狀況。景區位於戈壁山區，日照強、風沙大，請做好防曬防風措施並攜帶足夠的飲用水。請注意保護文物古蹟，嚴禁在城牆上刻畫、塗寫或攀爬。旺季時建議盡早抵達以避開人流高峰。

The scenic area does not require separate online ticket reservations; tickets are typically purchased on-site with real-name registration. However, it is recommended to purchase a joint ticket (peak season joint ticket approximately 120 yuan, valid for 3 days) covering Jiayuguan Pass and the First Beacon Tower, which is the most convenient and cost-effective option. When visiting, be sure to enter the official "Shiguanxia Overhanging Great Wall" scenic area to avoid being misled to nearby privately built imitation sections. The climb involves steep steps and requires a certain level of physical fitness; please wear anti-slip sports shoes. Elderly visitors, children, and individuals with heart conditions or high blood pressure should carefully assess their physical condition before climbing. Located in the mountainous Gobi area, the site experiences intense sunlight and frequent sandstorms. Take precautions against sun and wind, and carry sufficient drinking water. Please protect the cultural relics; carving, writing, or climbing on the wall is strictly prohibited. During the peak season, it is advisable to arrive early to avoid crowds.

懸臂長城位於嘉峪關市石關峽口北側的黑山山脊之上，是明代萬里長城西端起點的重要組成部分，因其城牆修築於傾斜度達45度的山脊上，形似凌空倒掛，故得名「懸壁長城」。這段長城始建於明嘉靖十八年（1539年），現存約750米，其中231米攀附於陡峭山脊，採用就地取材的黃土、砂石夯築而成，是嘉峪關軍事防禦體系的關鍵屏障。其核心價值不僅在於「長城倒掛鐵壁懸」的險峻奇觀，更見證了古代「以險制塞」的軍事智慧。如今，作為世界文化遺產長城的重要段落和國家AAAAA級景區「嘉峪關文物景區」的組成部分，登臨其上可俯瞰戈壁荒漠與祁連雪峰的蒼茫對峙，是體驗西北邊塞雄渾氣象的標誌性景觀。

The Overhanging Great Wall is situated on the ridge of the Hei Mountain, north of the Shiguanxia Pass in Jiayuguan City. It is a key component of the western starting point of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall. Named for its appearance of "hanging in mid-air," the wall was constructed along a ridge with a slope of up to 45 degrees. Built in 1539 during the Ming Jiajing reign, approximately 750 meters of the wall remain today, with 231 meters clinging to the steep mountain ridge. Constructed using locally sourced materials such as rammed earth and gravel, it served as a crucial defensive barrier in the Jiayuguan military system. Its core value lies not only in the spectacular sight of the "great wall hanging like an iron curtain" but also in its embodiment of ancient military wisdom in utilizing natural terrain for defense. Today, as an important section of the Great Wall—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—and part of the Jiayuguan Cultural Relics Scenic Area (a National AAAAA-level tourist attraction), climbing the wall offers a panoramic view of the stark contrast between the Gobi Desert and the snow-capped peaks of the Qilian Mountains, making it an iconic landscape for experiencing the majestic atmosphere of the northwestern frontier.
