鳴沙山月牙泉為國家AAAAA級旅遊景區，實行門票預售與實名制，​強烈建議透過官方公眾號、授權的第三方在線旅遊平台或在景區售票窗口提前購票，並完成人臉訊息錄入，門票自首次使用之日起三天內可多次入園。遊玩時請務必注意：景區內日照極為強烈且晝夜溫差大，​必須做足防曬措施（塗抹防曬霜、佩戴帽子墨鏡）並備好防寒衣物；攀登沙山時建議穿著高幫防沙鞋套或靴子；體驗騎駱駝、滑沙等項目時請務必聽從工作人員指引，確保安全；請勿在非指定區域攀爬或進入月牙泉水體，保護脆弱生態；請隨身攜帶足夠飲水與補充能量的零食；景區內手機信號可能不穩定，建議與同行者約定好集合地點與時間；請將所有垃圾帶離沙漠或投入指定回收點，共同守護這片自然奇蹟。

The Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Moon Spring is a National AAAAA-level tourist attraction that implements advance ticket sales and a real-name system. ​It is highly recommended to purchase tickets in advance through the official WeChat account, authorized third-party online travel platforms, or at the scenic area ticket office​ and complete facial registration. Tickets allow multiple entries within three days from the date of first use. During your visit, please note: the area experiences extremely intense sunlight and significant day-night temperature variations, so ​thorough sun protection (applying sunscreen, wearing hats and sunglasses) and preparing warm clothing are essential; wearing high-top sand-proof shoe covers or boots is advised when climbing the dunes; when experiencing activities such as camel riding or sand sliding, be sure to follow staff instructions to ensure safety; do not climb in unauthorized areas or enter the Crescent Moon Spring water body to protect the fragile ecosystem; carry sufficient drinking water and energizing snacks; mobile phone signals may be unstable within the scenic area, so it is advisable to agree on meeting points and times with companions; please take all trash out of the desert or deposit it in designated recycling points to collectively preserve this natural wonder.

鳴沙山月牙泉位於甘肅省敦煌市城南約五公里處，是國家AAAAA級旅遊景區和國家級風景名勝區，以“山泉共處，沙水共生”的沙漠奇觀聞名於世，被譽為“塞外風光之一絕”。鳴沙山東西綿延約四十公里，南北寬約二十公里，主峰海拔一千七百一十五米，山體由紅、黃、綠、黑、白五色流沙積聚而成，因沙動有聲而得名，晴朗天氣下滑沙可聞雷鳴般聲響，形成“沙嶺晴鳴”的獨特現象。月牙泉靜臥於鳴沙山環抱之中，形如一彎新月，泉水東深西淺，最深處約五米，雖千年風沙卻從不枯竭，泉邊生長有傳說中的“三寶”——鐵背魚、七星草和五色沙，更添神秘色彩。景區融合了沙山綿亙的曠遠之美、泉水晶瑩的靈秀之奇，以及絲路古道的歷史底蘊，遊客可在此體驗騎駱駝、滑沙、沙療等特色活動，感受大漠落日與星空下的浩瀚詩意，是敦煌自然與人文景觀完美交融的典範。

​The Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Moon Spring are located about five kilometers south of Dunhuang City in Gansu Province. It is a National AAAAA-level tourist attraction and a nationally designated scenic area, renowned worldwide for the desert wonder of "coexistence of mountain and spring, sand and water," hailed as "a unique spectacle beyond the Great Wall". Mingsha Mountain stretches approximately forty kilometers from east to west and about twenty kilometers from north to south, with its main peak reaching an altitude of 1,715 meters. The mountain is composed of flowing sand accumulated in five colors—red, yellow, green, black, and white—and gets its name from the sound produced when the sand moves. On clear days, sliding down the sand can produce a thunderous roar, creating the unique phenomenon known as "Singing Sand Ridge". The Crescent Moon Spring rests nestled within the embrace of Mingsha Mountain, shaped like a crescent moon. The spring is deeper in the east and shallower in the west, with a maximum depth of about five meters. It has never dried up despite millennia of wind and sand, and the legendary "Three Treasures"—iron-backed fish, seven-star grass, and five-colored sand—grow by its banks, adding an aura of mystery. The scenic area combines the vast beauty of the endless sand dunes, the exquisite charm of the crystal-clear spring, and the historical底蕴 of the ancient Silk Road. Visitors can experience activities such as camel riding, sand sliding, and sand therapy, feeling the poetic vastness under the desert sunset and starry sky, making it a perfect integration of Dunhuang's natural and cultural landscapes.
