敦煌火車站（敦煌站）作為交通運輸樞紐，其乘車無需景區類「預訂」​，但乘客需提前通過12306官網、App或火車站售票處購買火車票，建議至少在發車前1-2小時抵達車站以完成安檢、檢票等流程。乘車時請注意：進站及乘車務必攜帶購票時所使用的本人有效身份證件原件​（如身份證、護照）；站內及列車上全程禁止吸煙；請保管好個人行李物品，尤其是過安檢、上下車時；車站及站前廣場人員流動頻繁，請看管好隨行兒童與老人；若有大件或特殊行李，請提前查詢相關規定；如遇列車時刻調整或極端天氣，請及時關注車站公告與鐵路部門通知。

Dunhuang Railway Station (Dunhuang Station) is a transportation hub. ​There is no "booking" required in the tourist-attraction sense for train travel, but passengers ​must purchase train tickets in advance via the 12306 official website, app, or the station ticket office. It is recommended to arrive at the station at least 1-2 hours before departure to complete security checks, ticket verification, and other procedures. Please note the following when traveling: you ​must carry the original valid ID document used during ticket purchase​ (e.g., ID card, passport) for station entry and boarding; ​smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the station and on trains; keep personal luggage and belongings secure, especially during security checks and when boarding/alighting; as station areas and forecourts are busy with passenger flow, closely supervise accompanying children and elderly individuals; for oversized or special luggage, check relevant regulations in advance; in case of schedule adjustments or extreme weather, promptly pay attention to station announcements and notices from railway authorities.

敦煌火車站（敦煌站）位於甘肅省敦煌市莫高鎮，東距市中心約12公里，是蘭新鐵路支線敦煌鐵路的終點站，也是敦煌市主要的鐵路客運門戶。車站於2006年建成啟用，其建築外觀以「漢唐關隘」為設計靈感，融合了敦煌壁畫中的藻井、飛天飄帶等文化元素，牆體採用土黃色石材，頂部形似烽火台，整體呈現雄渾古樸的絲路建築風格，被譽為「絲路文化第一站」。站內設施完善，設有人工及自助售票廳、候車大廳、母嬰室及商業服務區，可通達蘭州、西安、銀川、烏魯木齊等多個主要城市。作為連接敦煌與外部的重要交通樞紐，敦煌火車站不僅承載著旅客集散功能，其極具地域特色的造型更成為旅客抵達敦煌後感受絲路文化的首個地標，實現了現代交通功能與敦煌歷史美學的有機融合。

Dunhuang Railway Station (Dunhuang Station) is located in Mogao Town, Dunhuang City, Gansu Province, approximately 12 kilometers east of the city center. It is the terminal station of the Dunhuang Railway, a branch line of the Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway, and serves as the main railway passenger gateway to Dunhuang. The station commenced operations in 2006. Its architectural design draws inspiration from the "Han-Tang frontier passes," incorporating cultural elements from Dunhuang murals such as caisson ceilings and flying apsaras' ribbons. The walls are constructed with earthy-yellow stone, and the roof resembles a beacon tower, presenting a grand and古朴 Silk Road architectural style, earning it the title "First Stop of Silk Road Culture." The station is well-equipped with facilities including manual and self-service ticket halls, waiting halls, a mother-and-child room, and commercial service areas, providing connections to major cities such as Lanzhou, Xi'an, Yinchuan, and Urumqi. As a vital transportation hub linking Dunhuang with the outside world, Dunhuang Railway Station not only handles passenger distribution but also, with its highly regional design, serves as the first landmark where visitors experience Silk Road culture upon arriving in Dunhuang, achieving an organic integration of modern transport functionality and Dunhuang's historical aesthetics.
