The Aksay Film Studio (Boluozhuanjing Film Studio) is a National AAAA-level tourist attraction. Tickets can be purchased through official online platforms or at the on-site ticket office, with ​advance online booking recommended during peak periods and holidays​ to ensure smoother entry. Please note the following during your visit: the scenic area is extensive, so ​purchasing a sightseeing vehicle ticket is highly recommended​ to improve touring efficiency; all internal structures are dilapidated buildings abandoned for many years—climbing, leaning on, or entering closed-off unsafe structures for any reason is strictly prohibited; exercise caution when taking photos or videos, especially when using drones or other equipment, by avoiding crowded areas; as the area is located on a plateau (approx. 2,800 meters above sea level) with intense UV radiation, strong winds, sand, and significant day-night temperature fluctuations, comprehensive ​sun protection, windproof, and cold-weather preparations are essential; all film props are merely set decorations—do not move, step on, or damage them; dispose of trash in designated bins or take it with you; if you encounter local Kazakh cultural performances, please show respect and watch in an orderly manner.

阿克塞影視基地（又稱博羅轉井影視基地）位於甘肅省酒泉市阿克塞哈薩克族自治縣境內的老縣城舊址博羅轉井鎮，海拔約2800米，是建立在高原廢舊石油小鎮遺址上的綜合影視主題景區。其核心區域完整保留了1998年縣城整體搬遷後的廢棄建築群，包括舊政府大樓、醫院、學校、民居及標誌性的民族影劇院，並置入了《九層妖塔》《西風烈》等影片留下的公交車殘骸、巨型骷髏、坦克等標誌性道具，形成強烈的廢墟美學與超現實視覺衝擊。作為國家AAAA級旅遊景區與國家級文化產業示範基地，這裡不僅重現了上世紀七八十年代中國西部工礦城鎮的時代風貌，更通過影視IP賦能、哈薩克族非遺展演及星空營地等多元業態，成為集廢墟探秘、電影打卡、民俗體驗和攝影創作為一體的「中國西部好萊塢」，生動詮釋了戈壁深處一座消逝之城的再生傳奇。

The Aksay Film Studio (also known as the Boluozhuanjing Film Studio) is located in the old county seat of Boluozhuanjing Town, Aksay Kazakh Autonomous County, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province, at an elevation of approximately 2,800 meters. It is an integrated film-themed scenic area built upon the ruins of an abandoned high-altitude petroleum town. Its core zone fully preserves the derelict architectural complex left after the county’s relocation in 1998, including former government buildings, hospitals, schools, residential houses, and the iconic Ethnic Theater, complemented with signature props such as wrecked buses, giant skeletons, and tanks from films like Chronicles of the Ghostly Tribe and Wind Blast. This creates a powerful aesthetic of decay and surreal visual impact. Designated as a National AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national cultural industry demonstration base, the site not only recreates the era-specific ambiance of a 1970s–80s industrial and mining town in western China but also leverages cinematic IP empowerment, Kazakh intangible cultural heritage performances, starry-sky camping grounds, and diverse operational formats to become an integrated destination for exploring ruins, movie scene check-ins, folk custom experiences, and photographic creation—earning it the title “Hollywood of Western China.” It vividly narrates the legendary rebirth of a vanished town deep in the Gobi Desert.
