If you plan to visit the Da Qaidam Red Cliff area, please note the following: This is an undeveloped, primitive natural landscape with no entrance fee but also no official management or service facilities. Thorough advance planning is essential. It is recommended to drive a high-clearance or four-wheel-drive vehicle and carry sufficient fuel, food, drinking water, and emergency supplies. Some sections are unpaved desert tracks where it's easy to get lost; traveling with a local guide familiar with the route is highly advised. The climate is arid and changeable, so protection against wind and sun is necessary, and avoid traveling in rain, snow, or sandstorm conditions. There is no mobile signal throughout the area, so download offline maps in advance and inform others of your itinerary. Finally, please strictly adhere to environmental principles: take all trash with you, do not damage the landforms in any way, and help protect this precious wilderness.

大柴旦紅崖景區位於青海省海西州，是一片未開發的原始自然奇觀。其核心特點是國內唯一同時呈現雅丹與丹霞地貌的複合景觀，地表因富含鐵元素而呈現壯麗的赭紅色，溝壑縱橫的荒涼地貌與火星地表高度相似，被譽為「中國最像火星的地方」。這裡沒有傳統景區設施，卻以其極致的地質形態和星際荒野感，吸引著無數攝影、探險與地質愛好者前來探索。

The Da Qaidam Red Cliff area, located in Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is an undeveloped primitive natural wonder. Its core feature is China's only composite landscape that simultaneously exhibits Yardang and Danxia landforms. The surface, rich in iron, displays a magnificent reddish-brown color. The desolate, crisscrossed terrain bears a striking resemblance to the Martian surface, earning it the title of "The Place in China Most Like Mars." While it lacks traditional tourist facilities, its extreme geological formations and interstellar wilderness appeal attract countless photography, adventure, and geology enthusiasts to explore.
