The Qinghai Atomic City Memorial Hall is located in Xihai Town, Haiyan County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. It is China's only specialized memorial hall systematically showcasing the development history of the nuclear energy industry. Its predecessor was China's first nuclear weapon research and production base (Factory 221), where the first atomic and hydrogen bombs were developed. The memorial hall features an off-white semi-subterranean building and houses five main exhibition halls. Through historical photos, physical exhibits, and technological displays, it vividly recreates the glorious history of the "Two Bombs, One Satellite" project. It is designated as a national patriotic education demonstration base and a classic red tourism site.
