​預定須知​：景區實行年度季節性開放，通常在每年4月下旬至10月運營，當前處於年度封閉期，預計於2026年4月25日重新開放。景區實行預約制，每日限流2000人，務必提前通過官方渠道（如「樂遊西藏」小程序）進行預約，門票通常與聖湖瑪旁雍錯以聯票形式購買。前往前務必辦理前往阿里地區的邊防證，並建議提前在拉薩或日喀則充分適應高原環境。​

注意事項​：轉山全程海拔極高（起點約4600米，最高點卓瑪拉山口近5700米），是對體力和意志的極大考驗，務必根據自身健康狀況量力而行，強烈建議聘請當地背夫或嚮導協助。需準備專業防風保暖衣物、高幫防水徒步鞋、登山杖、防曬用品、高熱量食品及常用藥品，並遵守「不留下任何垃圾，不帶走任何物品」的環保原則。請全程尊重當地宗教習俗，如按順時針方向轉山，不隨意踩踏經幡、瑪尼堆，不對磕長頭的朝聖者進行近距離拍攝。此外，出發前務必關注景區官方最新通知，以獲取準確的開放時間、門票政策及天氣路況信息。

The Kailash kora is a pilgrimage journey revered by followers of Tibetan Buddhism, Bon, Hinduism, and other faiths. Key booking guidelines and precautions are as follows: ​

Booking Guidelines: The scenic area operates seasonally, typically from late April to October each year. It is currently closed for the annual off-season and is expected to reopen on April 25, 2026. A reservation system is in place, with a daily limit of 2,000 visitors. It is essential to make a reservation in advance through official channels (e.g., the "Happy Tibet Travel" mini-program), as tickets are usually sold as a combined pass with the sacred Lake Manasarovar. Before traveling, you must obtain a border permit for the Ngari Prefecture and it is highly recommended to acclimatize to the high altitude in Lhasa or Shigatse beforehand. 

Precautions: The entire kora route is at an extremely high altitude (starting at approximately 4,600 meters, with the highest point, Drolma La Pass, nearing 5,700 meters), posing a significant challenge to both physical stamina and mental resilience. It is crucial to assess your personal health and capabilities realistically. Hiring a local porter or guide is strongly advised. Essential preparations include professional windproof and warm clothing, high-cut waterproof hiking boots, trekking poles, sun protection, high-calorie food, and common medications. Adhere strictly to the environmental principle of "leave no trace, take only memories." Respect local religious customs throughout the journey, such as walking the kora clockwise, avoiding stepping on prayer flags or mani stones, and refraining from taking close-up photos of prostrating pilgrims. Additionally, before departure, be sure to check the latest official notices from the scenic area for accurate information on opening hours, ticket policies, and weather/road conditions.

岡仁波齊轉山是圍繞藏傳佛教、苯教、印度教和耆那教共同認定的“世界中心”——岡仁波齊神山（海拔6656米）進行的徒步朝聖之旅。轉山分為約52-56公里的外轉山路線和內轉路線，信徒相信轉山可洗脫罪孽、積累功德，例如轉1圈可洗淨一生罪孽。外轉路線通常以阿里地區普蘭縣的塔欽鎮為起點和終點，需2天完成，途經海拔約5648米的卓瑪拉埡口，沿途有止熱寺等休息點。轉山者需應對高海拔、多變氣候及複雜地形，需準備防風保暖衣物、登山杖、高熱量食物等裝備，並尊重當地宗教習俗，如順時針轉山、不觸碰經幡瑪尼堆等。景區開放時間為每年4月下旬至10月，需購票進入。

The Mount Kailash (Kangrinboqe) pilgrimage, known as the "kora," is a hiking journey around the sacred mountain (6,656 meters) revered by Tibetan Buddhism, Bon, Hinduism, and Jainism as the "center of the world." The pilgrimage includes an outer route of approximately 52-56 kilometers and an inner route. Devotees believe that circumambulating the mountain can cleanse sins and accumulate merit; for example, one circuit is believed to cleanse the sins of a lifetime. The outer route typically starts and ends in Darchen Town, Purling County, Ngari Prefecture, takes about two days to complete, passes through the Drolma La Pass (around 5,648 meters), and has rest points like Zhere Monastery along the way. Pilgrims must cope with high altitude, unpredictable weather, and complex terrain, requiring equipment such as windproof and warm clothing, trekking poles, and high-calorie food, while respecting local religious customs like walking clockwise and not touching prayer flags or mani stones. The scenic area is open from late April to October each year, and an entrance ticket is required.
