Given its altitude of approximately 4,600 meters, visitors should acclimatize to high-elevation conditions in advance and carry oxygen as well as protective gear against cold and sun. It is recommended to use a 4WD off-road vehicle, noting that many roads are gravel-surfaced. Please avoid discarding litter by the lake and do not disturb livestock or wildlife.
