珠峰古堡

珠峰古堡為免費開放的遺址類景觀，無需購票或提前預約。由於地處邊境地區，遊客必須在戶籍地或拉薩提前辦理包含「定日縣」的邊防證。景區位於海拔約4200米的崗嘎鎮附近，需自駕通過砂石路前往（建議使用SUV車型）。參觀時嚴禁攀爬、刻畫或損毀古堡夯土遺蹟，拍照時應注意腳下的坑窪與鬆動石塊。請將車輛停放在指定區域，切勿碾壓周邊草場。高原地區紫外線強烈且天氣多變，需做好防曬、防風及保暖準備。請自行攜帶飲用水和食物，並務必帶走所有垃圾，保護脆弱的高原生態環境。

The Mount Everest Ancient Fort is a freely accessible heritage site that requires no ticket purchase or advance reservation. As it is located in a border area, visitors must obtain a Border Permit in advance (either at their place of household registration or in Lhasa) that includes "Tingri County." The site is situated near Gangga Town at an altitude of approximately 4,200 meters and can only be reached by self-driving on gravel roads (SUVs are recommended). Climbing, carving, or damaging the ancient rammed-earth ruins is strictly prohibited, and visitors should watch for uneven ground and loose stones when taking photos. Park vehicles only in designated areas and avoid driving over surrounding grasslands. Due to the high altitude, intense UV radiation, and unpredictable weather, prepare for sun protection, wind resistance, and warmth. Bring your own drinking water and food, and ensure all trash is carried out to protect the fragile plateau ecosystem.

珠峰古堡（又稱珠峰古堡遺址）位於西藏日喀則市定日縣崗嘎鎮西側的東巴村附近，地處喜馬拉雅山脈北麓，海拔約4200米，是一座歷史可追溯至13世紀或清乾隆時期的古代遺址群。古堡由夯土築成，殘高2至8米，牆體厚1至1.8米，多呈方形佈局，原為軍事防禦或驛站設施，見證過去高原通商與軍事活動的歷史。如今，它以荒涼的斷壁殘垣與遠處巍峨的珠穆朗瑪峰、卓奧友峰等雪峰形成「時空對話」的壯麗畫面，成為免費開放的攝影聖地，尤其適合用長焦鏡頭捕捉古堡與雪山同框的震撼場景。遊客可經G219國道轉入土路抵達，需注意高原反應與生態保護。

The Everest Ancient Fort (also known as Everest Fort Ruins) is situated near Dongba Village, west of Gangga Town, Tingri County, Shigatse, Tibet, on the northern slopes of the Himalayas at an altitude of approximately 4,200 meters. This ancient site dates back to the 13th century or the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. Constructed from rammed earth, the fort remnants stand 2 to 8 meters high with walls 1 to 1.8 meters thick, typically arranged in a square layout, and are believed to have served as military defense or relay station facilities, bearing witness to historical trade and military activities on the plateau. Today, its desolate ruins form a striking "dialogue across time and space" with the majestic peaks of Mount Everest and Cho Oyu in the distance, making it a free-access photography hotspot, ideal for capturing breathtaking shots of the fort framed against the snow-capped mountains using a telephoto lens. Visitors can reach the site via a dirt road branching off National Highway G219, but should be mindful of altitude sickness and environmental conservation.
