There is no need to book tickets in advance for Rindo Township, as it is not a traditional ticketed tourist area. However, since Rindo Township is located on the edge of the Changtang uninhabited area in western Gaize County, Ngari Prefecture, with an average altitude exceeding 4,700 meters, it is mandatory to obtain a border permit for the Ngari region at your place of household registration or in Lhasa before traveling. It is advisable to travel in a convoy of off-road vehicles equipped with detailed offline maps, ample food, water, fuel, and medication for altitude sickness. Accommodation options are extremely basic, with only simple guesthouses available; these cannot be booked in advance, so be prepared for camping or seeking temporary lodging upon arrival. Strictly adhere to environmental principles: leave no trace, do not disturb wildlife, and stay vigilant regarding weather changes.
